In this role, you have the opportunity to

Coordinate demand and supply on BG level in such a way that World-wide availability of products is optimised.

Formulates the future strategic directions on BG level.  Assesses new developments and identifies new opportunities for Philips. Oversees the global developments, and determines the implications for his domain. Intervenes in case of deviations of pre-defines border values of stock levels. Lead the Availability Management group on BG level.  Is consulted as a senior specialist and asked for projects to investigate the feasibility of new businesses, applications concepts and models.

You are responsible for

  • Conducts scenario planning and risk analysis
  • Manage the integral inventory levels of the BIU with objective to realize the availability targets.
  • Utilize the AI/ML generated baseline forecast to derive an accurate 18-month plan.
  • Live and breathe the S&OP principles and act as an advocate for the S&OP process in the market.
  • Facilitate and lead the monthly Business S&OP Review meeting, ensuring alignment on the 0-18 month plan.
  • Coordinate on BG level in such a way that Worldwide availability of products
  • Intervene in case of deviations of predefines border values of stock levels.
  • Assesses new developments and identifies new opportunities for Philips.
  • Prepare suppliers/factories for long term sales plans.
  • Define and agree on availability performance and inventories.
  • On behalf of the BIU, facilitate the S&OP process, by teaming up with factories, supply centers and markets.
  • Deploy the single agreed plan to all functions.
  • Initiates and participates in BIU and supply chain improvement processes.
  • Defines opportunities for improvement driven by operational excellence, customer satisfaction and cost reduction.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A master degree
  • 8 yrs business experience in demand /supply management or SCM operations , preferably  in consumer goods industry.
  • Leadership skills, able to operate in dynamic environment with high interaction levels
  • Strong communication skills in international matrix setting, fluent in English
  • Persuasive, analytical, hands on mentality, authority, stress resistant
  •  Adaptability to talk/manage different levels of audiences.
