Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop the logistic network to deliver higher service levels while optimizing the warehousing and distribution costs. You will support the Magnetic Resonance and Diagnostic X-Ray (DXR) business with optimizing logistics and reducing the costs. The majority of your time you will be driving improvement projects/programs in order to increase customer service levels and optimize costs. Next to that you will be defining strategies, identifying improvement areas and reporting costs. You will be part of the logistics management team and will work at least 3 days a week from the office in Best.

You are responsible for

  • Leading as Project leader key improvement programs (about 60% of the time).
  • Developing together with the Business Group (BG) Magnetic Resonance (MR), DXR the warehousing and distribution strategy.
  • Initiating and developing the productivity funnel to optimize Integrated warehouse & distribution (IWD) costs and Customer service level.
  • Forecasting, reviewing and reporting the warehousing and distribution costs for the BG
  • Representing Integrated Warehouse & Distribution (IWD) in the Sales and Operations planning process.
  • Sharing best practices and contribute to harmonization/standardization in the function
  • Driving cross BG improvements in the area of IWD.


You are a part of

The Integrated warehouse & distribution (IWD) & Factory order management (FOM) team of delivery model Systems. A passionate, global and diverse team that is passionate about improving our customer experience every day. The IWD productivity leader is directly reporting into the IWD&FOM leader of Health systems. The total department consists of 120 employees of which the direct team of 9 managers. You will work closely together with the other 3

3 Senior Managers Productivity and Logistics.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Supply chain, Business administration
  • At least 7 years’ experience in Supply Chain/ Logistics/Operations
  • Track record in program/ project management is required
  • Experience in a large international company is required
  • Experience in a matrix environment is required
  • Strong Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Preference experience in a regulated or logistics industry
  • Self-starter with drive and persistence
