In this role, you have the opportunity to

Procurement Engineer represents Procurement in the Business, has an in-depth understanding of the product context “End-to-End” is responsible for delivering on the Business Procurement strategies, including the utilization of DFX.

You are responsible for

  • Being as the procurement program manager, lead the overall sourcing and supply base transformation programs on the selected components, categories and assemblies to the low-cost countries with close collaboration with a cross-functional team;
  • Ensures the TCO (cost, quality, availability) optimization in product and business creation and through their full life cycle, utilizing DFX;
  • PE drives the sourcing plan, leading supplier selection and ensuring adherence to the Business Procurement strategy;
  • Drives early supplier involvement and identifies cost drivers to influence design decision making and achieve target costing;
  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality in the new supplier/component release process, including compliance and sustainability aspects;
  • Support price negotiations with opportunities.

You are a part of

The procurement engineering team focusing on Healthtech / MR, you will be reporting directly towards the Procurement Engineering Business Partner MR BIU.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master degree in a relevant technical discipline (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering etc)
  • Procurement experience with 5-7 years of proven experience, preferable also Program management experience;
  • Process engineering, PBCA, and Electrical and mechanical are familiar to you;
  • Experience with Supplier quality, product development is a plus;
  • Fluent in Business English;
