Job Description

As a FP&A Manager Supply Chain Analyst your challenge is to help Philips with the implementation of Import Duty reporting, forecasting and analysis. Besides that, you run F&A related Supply Chain projects. You can combine Business, Accounting, and can drive and manage the preparation and execution of all project related activities on behalf of IWD organization.

You are responsible for

  • Act as first point of contact towards other FP&A COE’s, and finance business partners for all duty cost related questions and built and maintain a strong internal network to have fast and sharp business support
  • Set up, install and maintain reporting related to import tariffs for Global Philips
  • Analyzes and reports on import tariff performance by means of: Monthly performance, AOP, Target setting, product/market/customer/integral profitability, Quarterly Forecasting, RoFo, Strategic Review,
  • Analyze the effect of the China- US tariff impacts per BG/Market.
  • Performs forward-looking ad-hoc analysis, such as project & footprint discussion and evaluation, scenario analysis, etc.
  • Prepares, attends, minutes and keeps track of follow-ups regarding performance and strategy meetings. Takes initiative to bring relevant financial issues to the attention of his/her relevant stakeholders.
  • Participates in various x-BG/Sector/Market Finance improvement projects. Understands systems and tools. Ensures quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.
  • Perform detailed business analysis on supply chain cost developments, forward looking trends and insights to enable corrective actions including savings initiatives for value creation.
  • Acting as the liaison between Tax, ISC supply chain and Operations teams on savings initiatives, savings reporting (approving) and corrective actions.
  • Supporting the Freight analytics projects to drive performance and productivity initiatives working closely with IT, Operations and advanced analytics team

You are a part of the department CoE FP&A Supply Chain at Philips We work with leading stakeholders in the area of Supply Chain Management.  We work with all Philips businesses worldwide and different function in Philips.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Understanding of goods flow and the impact on import duties
    • Drive footprint discussions
  • Experience with IT projects
    • Understanding building , testing and deploying IT Applications
    • Knowledge of SAP for commercial and industrial use is a pre
  • Understanding of Philips businesses
    • As you will have many contacts within Philips it is a strong pre when you have experience within Philips and understand its processes, systems, and  language (e.g. abbreviations)
    • Understanding of Finance, Supply chain and procurement processes
  • Analysis skills
    • Understand the actuals vs forecast and give insight views on this
    • Perform monthly reporting/ quarterly reporting and make targets well underpinned 
    • Influence various expert and management layers
    • Integrate contributions from several business functions like Finance, Supply chain, Procurement and IT
  • Project management skills
    • Experience in managing complex projects
    • Experience with project planning and tracking
    • It is a pre to have led large projects, especially in the area of Warehousing and Transportation
  • Other skills
    • Able to collaborate across cultures and disciplines
    • Bring people together around a common understanding
    • Managing the balance between taking ownership and delegation
    • Flexible and stress resistant to deal with a very dynamic environment
    • An inquisitive quick learner
    • Experience in MS Office applications SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel and front end applications such as Power BI, Qlick View
    • Good in English
