In this role, you have the opportunity to

demonstrate your capabilities / competences within the Philips organization by supporting the Silver lake project. Silver lake will optimize traceability during last mile transportation.

In this project you will act as a single point of contact between different stakeholders (order desks, warehouses, carriers and suppliers of connected packaging devices for tracking and tracing) to enable smooth logistic Silver Lake flows on Shop Floor level of High Tech Health Tech MR Systems from picking the components up to loading of trucks.

You are responsible for

ensuring a smooth logistic Silver Lake flow:

  • Supporting implementation and securing of logistic Silver Lake processes and procedures in the warehouses to reduce DEFOA’s (missing’s, damages and wrongs on arrival).
  • Communicating with outbound carriers and sub-contractors to enable the transport out of the outbound lanes of the warehouses to the customer
  • Reviewing and updating Quality Management System process validations and carry out process FMEA’s.
  • Stakeholder mapping and stakeholder management
  • Item tracking and tracing with connected packaging devices in the warehouse
  • Silver Lake Planning mid- and long term on Shop Floor Level
  • Generating configuration lists
  • Act as a Single Point of Contact for questions related to the Silver Lake project

You are a part of

the OMM (Operations Material Management) organization and will be at the beginning working under the supervision of a project lead, who is responsible for the correct implementation of the DEFOA improvement project. You are working in a dynamic environment, in which flexibility, adaptability and persistency are key.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor (e.g. Supply chain management or logistics).
  • 3-5 years relevant working experience in Supply chain at an international manufacturing company, preferably warehousing/Logistics. 
  • Strong communicator in both English and Dutch.
  • Logistics conceptual thinking capacity.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with Lean.
  • Good communication skills to engage with multiple teams, stakeholders and organizational levels.
  • Focus on structure, prioritization and decisiveness, remains persistent until the goal is completed.
