In this role, you have the opportunity to

You will be responsible for executing, developing and improve the production planning process and tools in our MR plant.

You are responsible for

  • Planning, management and adjustment of production activities so that the agreed production plan is realized with minimum stock and work-in-progress.
  • Working cross-functionally to anticipate customer delivery requirements.
  • Maintaining production and material related forecasting data in ERP.
  • Planning production capacity and load balancing to meet customer delivery targets.
  • Analysis and optimization: Ensure delivery performance of the bottle-neck work centers such that optimum use of resource and critical situations can be dealt with.
  • Knowledge of different planning parameters (for example safety time, safety stock, routings), so in times of changing environment the planning-method can be adjusted.
  • Data integrity & Parameter setting: Understand and maintain the Material-Master data (PFEP – Plan For Every Part) and other settings and take action in case of discrepancies
  • Acts as trouble-shooter and process owner regarding all internal logistics flows in order to avoid disruptions to the production process.
  • Reporting on production KPIs.
  • Continuous improvement of production planning processes and tools.

You are a part of

The Shop Floor Control team MR, which owns and drive the production planning processes and related logistic flows. You will work closely together with your colleagues in the factory, operational procurement, process engineering, manufacturing engineering and our warehouse / logistic service provider.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree in logistics / supply chain management.
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience with planning within production logistics.
  • Experienced SAP (R3) PP-module and Excel (visual basics) user.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and use of Lean Tools.
  • Structural, analytical well-organized team player.
  • Motivated and creative problem solver.
