The main activities and responsibilities

  • As Supply & Capacity Planning Manager you will be responsible that the capacity at the manaufacturing organizations are aligned with the business' required volumes, that there is oversight of aspects that can impact supply interruption from the the manufacturing organizations and so a timely action plan.
  • Up to date understanding of the capacity of the plant, and the available equipment at the manufacturing organizations
    • Track and record manufacturing organizations performance including Operation and quality KPI's and install a plan for improvement if needed.
    • Act with the end responsibility for the financial aspects at the manufacturing organizations.
    • Support that all production activities are performed according to the existing dossier and specifications. This will be performed in cooperation with Manufacturing Organizations, consultants and other functions involved in the development, manufacturing and marketing & sales of our products.
  • Be the main contact point for assigned manufacturing organizations, and work closely with the BUs.
  • Participate in project teams to ambassador the aspects of the business relation and pro-actively manage future products

  • Lead a cross functional team of experts and SMEs for the day to day operations with manufacturing organizations


  • You have an academic degree in Pharmacy or other related study field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • You have commercial experience and the capacity to manage a matrix team in a rapidly changing environment.
  • You have project management experience.
  • You have thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical production activities, perhaps as a plant manager as well.
  • You have existing knowledge in generics, in order to optimize manufacturing processes and related activities.
