Your challenge is to

Create and evaluate new supply chain concepts and scenarios with an end-to-end scope for Digital and Computation Pathology (DCP), in line with the Business strategy. Works as an integrator together with experts and stakeholders from in- and outside the Supply Chain management functions and drive continuous improvements with lessons learnt..

You are responsible for

DCP is looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager / Engineer.

In this role he/she:

  • Evaluates (new) Supply Chain concepts and designs for new or existing value streams, in line with Business strategy of Digital and Computation Pathology . Scope is upstream as well as downstream Supply Chain.
  • Analyzing new scenarios and quantify the performance with end-to-end scope for management decisions working closely together with adjacent functions.
  • Contributes to the deployment of tactical, financial and operational plans by driving continuous improvement in supply chain performance through Supply Chain analysis and process improvements. Translate analytics, risks, (and running initiatives) .
  • Design and deploy supply chain risk management framework involving (1e and 2e tier) suppliers.
  • Leverage from and align with other Philips businesses.
  • Proactively report on milestone, action plan progress to team and stakeholders.
  • In addition, provide specialist support for supply chain issues, e.g.: Assist, support and provide backup coverage for Supply Chain team member to execute SC activities such as stock take, inventory accuracy in allocation and consumption, material demand, sales order entry, and purchase order entry.
  • Working closely with IT experts to clarify requirements and approve solutions designs by IT.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • BSc or Master Degree in business/Industrial Engineering with a focus on supply chain management, inventory control, logistics and materials management
  • Minimum of 8 years of supply chain and operations experience within (highly) regulated environment, preferable in Healthcare domain.
  • SAP (industrial) knowledge and improvement gained in previous roles. As a pre, was involved in implementation trajectory
  • Project/Program Management competence developed through experience.
  • Able to oversee complex situations and uses data to facilitate decisions on direction, and translation into milestone/action plan.
  • You can easily communicate and manage internal/external stakeholders in English both verbally and written.
  • Experience with supply chain risk management and six sigma and LEAN methods.
  • You are proactive, service-oriented and committed to deliver results, flexible, practical and stress-tolerant (conflict management skills), analytical, accurate team player and a quick learner.
  • As a person you feel comfortable in a fast changing, dynamic environment.
