  • In this role, you have the opportunity to

Procurement engineering delivers innovation through suppliers to the business to assure quality and timely solutions aredelivered to our customers at the right cost levels.

  • You are responsible for
  • Acts on behalf of Procurement Engineering and Commodity Management for project or supplier related activities, ensuring relevant PE & CM team members are always informed and involved
  • Support the deployment of early supplier involvement and target costing and tracking for assigned product, in alignment with CM and PE
  • Prepare requirement package from PLM and the Supplier Project Agreement/ Project Book
  • Communication of project related commercial & technical requirements
  • Drives request for quotation process and supports supplier selection based on the Forward Procurement List based on the delegation scheme
  • Supports commodity strategy and execution in close relation with the Commodity Teams ; Provides input regarding business requirements
  • Accountable for the phase in/out ramp up/down process and related supplier communication
  • • Execute and support phase in – phase Out (PIPO) planning related to new product introduction and LCM activities
  • Execution of supplier setup and SAP / PLM master data creation
  •  Support CM / Ops Buyers / P&S with price update in local system if help is required

You will be part of the global procurement organization on the one side and in the business unit of Mother & Child Care at the same time. The procurement team in Mother & Child care is a divers team with high performing colleagues delivering innovation in the product development cycle and process and product improvements on existing products in the market.

  • To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Ensures suppliers understand project requirements and deliver materials to project needs, communicates specifications and changes.
  • Implements change by incorporating global Philips Procurement programs and initiatives into site related project planning, execution and communication
  • Is disciplined in execution and usage of standardized processes, methodologies and tools to drive reliable and efficient program execution
  • Takes prompt and effective actions (incl. escalation) to mitigate Procurement and/or Supplier related issues and secure Supply
  • Demonstrates team work and effective cross-functional collaboration by sharing knowledge and information, updating others on project actions & status
  • Organizes all site related Supplier activities and communication according to the Supplier strategy and guidance provided by Supplier Account Managers
